LOS ANGELES, Dec 26, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- eWorldCompanies, Inc. (Pink Sheets: EWDI) announced today that its operating subsidiary eWorld Entertainment, Inc. (eWorlde) will provide 24-hour access to the 2007 Los Angeles Music Awards Show on its Boomerang Media Station. The 17th Annual LAMA show, which is the longest running major awards show for independent artists in history, was filmed live in front of a sellout audience in Hollywood, CA on November 29. That show is currently being edited and is expected to be uploaded for worldwide viewing on eWorld's Boomerang Media Station within the next few weeks.
eWorld had previously announced on November 26 that they had entered into a long-term strategic alliance with Los Angeles Music Awards ("LAMA") in which the eWorld and LAMA agreed to engage in a series of cross-promotional activities. Now the companies have expanded their partnership with a new arrangement in which LAMA and eWorld will jointly produce original streaming video content of LAMA's shows, activities and artists which eWorld will host on its Boomerang Media Station. Much of this programming will be available exclusively through eWorld's Boomerang Media Station and its PlayTV online broadcasting network, and both eWorld and LAMA will actively promote these programs through their respective marketing networks and industry contacts.
